Some of the processors have gotten into legal trouble so they are having to move money around to different processors. Those checks are only gtd by the processors not FT. If the processor has their assets frozen, then the Checks become almost worthless until FT refunds your money into your account. The Cash Pickup by passes the check process and allows you to just get the cash in hand, and depsoit that cash directly into your bank account without having to wait for it to clear and possibly having the funds transfer reserved and getting charges from your bank because of it.
