I always had good experiences with BitDefender. I wish I had it before this computer caught a virus, but didn't get it put on there quick enough. Oh well...anyway...
BitDefender is a good one, and the newest release is BitDefender 2009. For one computer for a full year of licensing you can get it for $24.99 and download it directly from the site, plus they'll send you a hard copy on disk if you ask for it.
I like BitDefender because it doesn't just concentrate on Trojans or other common viruses, it also seeks out adware and spyware, (worms, etc.) and doesn't just quarantine it like most other programs, but rather destroys it altogether.
Always with any purchase or investment, it's best to look up many different ones and weigh the pros and cons before deciding. Good luck! |
