I was in a 451 person tournament the other day. I became the chip leader with 96k in chips, second place had 55k, and there were 20 people left. I went down to 20k in chips and last place which was now 15th by playing QQ twice over about 20 hands. I ran into KK once, and A6 another time (which happened to destroy me on the flop with not only one A, but another one to rub it in... thanks poker gods). I not only hate playing QQ, but I'm beginning to realize how badly I play this hand all the time. I can let go of JJ when I need to a lot easier than QQ, so anything JJ or lower or KK or AA, and I think I play a lot better. I just make a ton of mistakes with QQ. |
