Perfectly stated in the movie Fargo, "We're not a bank, Jerry."

I do not give any money to someone begging, especially online. To loan or give a stranger money for the obvious purpose to play poker is like throwing the cash into a bon fire. Everyone makes choices as to where their money goes. The beggers could save some cash by cancelling their internet service, thus ending their connection/addiction to online poker. If they are begging, their poker game is probably not up to snuff anyways, thay have already blown the bankroll. Not a very good or wise investment.

Some of us can play for free, others can afford to buy-in when needed. Free loaders need not apply. Poker takes money, if you can not afford to put up and lose what is on the table, your problems are far worse than just losing at a poker game.

As for giving to friends, careful about that road too, friendships come and go, online poker is open 24/7.
