Sry but completely wrong. If you play like the sniper, you will never win. Wars are never won by snipers but aggressive generals who command their troops to it's fullest. I'd much rather WIN fewer tourneys than what you cash because I know, over the long run, I'll make more money. Poker touranments are structured to where the top 3 places make all the money and just cashing gives you your Buy in back plus some chump change. Plain and simple, without being a general, and taking risky tactics from time to time (situational aggression), your NOT going to make the final table (unless it is some small soft 18/27 player tourney, then maybe).
and yes if you play like the sniper, there will be alot of times, your chip stack is so small, suckout hands will call and do their rightful duty, railing you for only playing 6% of your hands all tourney.
going deep is nice and all but going deep WITH a good chip stack is better, but still no promise that you will make a final table.
