I have played 294 cash tourneys on POKERSTARS. I have made it to the money in 80 of them. I can hardly find another player with this 27% "in the money".

So you think I'm telling you how good I am. No. Because of my similar "surviving" style, I am little better than a break even player. Most Multi Table Tourneys are structured to reward the top 3 with half of the whole prize pool. Most of my finishes have returned only 2-5 times my buy-in.

I am trying to open up my game and actually finish ITM less, but go for the win.

One piece of constructive advice I would like to give you is play satellites.

I try to play satellites where all of the "winners" receive the same prize. For example a field of 1000 players plays in a satellite tourney where the top 100 receive a ticket. Even if I win only 20 % of these it is still doubling my money.

It seems to be working so far and I just unregister from the satellite win for tourney $.
