Stupid shove by the the suited connector player. I think he/she would've gotten more vaule out his her hand.

I mean think about it, why call a pre-flop raise with 8/9 hearts, get the nuts on a rainbow flop then not get paid off more? Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Another dumb thing is why play short stacked if you're going to call with 8/9 suited? I'd much rather play big stacked if I'm going to play these spec hands, that way if you hit the board you're going to get paid off much more than the $12 that this clown got paid.

If he/she had played this hand just right and he had a decent stack he could've tripled up big time. It's these hands that win you huge pots. But this person obviously isn't a good player because he/she didn't maximze the value of the hand.

Just awful poker and awful money management.

I also think that laying down Aces against these players is a no-brainer. I wouldn't think twice about folding AA in this spot. The OP should thank the poker gods for playing at such a horrible table.

Another thing, why didn't the other person with AA re-raise you? She Devil is just begging for somebody with a spec hand to enter the pot and take down her aces. Again, just plain horrible, awful, money losing poker if you ask me.
