My wishes are with both you and your step son. I have a feeling it will be more on the ok side than anything, but that is just a feeling. Glad you took him to the doctors and found it before it got worse.
But I would not suggest playing poker (unless that is your outlet). Only because it is so easy to lose your mind with all the drama and the emotion roller coaster involved in it. Just make sure to stay safe, and hope for a speedy recovery!
