There is no max buy-in for limit games. You could sit with your entire bankroll at a $0.05/$0.10 limit table.
And if you're really recommending that a $6,000 bankroll is enough to play $5/$10NL... I'd have to forcefully disagree. You're way below the proper bankroll for that (which would be $20,000+). Although, $6,000 is plenty for $5/$10 Limit.
