That's an interesting question. I do follow poker legislation and take an interest in news of this type, but I can't say I have ever evaluated a candidate based (in part, even) on his/her stance on these issues. I can't explain why, though. This might definitely be something to consider.

I've become sort of a pragmatic voter; I tend to not vote on issues that, even though I might be passionate about them, I don't think my candidate will be able to bring about a change. So I'll have to consider the poker issue in line with that way of thinking.
