actually... yes, i always raise with pocket pairs. They are not strong enough to trap people with. I would rather collect 150 chips in blinds than lose 3000 chips to ace duece with Kings. trapping people is for when you flopped the nuts or trips, etc. and even then you trap them with a bet that they would raise, you dont just check. limping is probably the worst play ever. im not saying i dont limp, im saying that when i get 7's or higher i raise. and thats the right play. |
