I have actually not played for real money. I get too freaked out at the possibility of losing.
Now I do agree that the competition and the game is different in these cases. People aren't as serious. I probably get more than my share of yahoos who bet recklessly because they have nothing to lose. That IS annoying, I must admit.
I should probably start playing for money but with something very small, and go from there. Maybe only $25 or so, that way if I lose, it's almost the same as if we spent that 2 hours at the movies instead. |
