I doubt at this point if much of anything is going to get done until after the next presidential election in November 2008 which means that at the earliest sometime in 2009 anything might be done about repealing the UIGEA. I think as long as Bush is in office, Rep Frank's bill won't go anywhere. Also you have to consider that it is illegal in 12 US states to gamble online and even a felony to do so in a couple so that might come into play somehow also.
