BETTER GET THERE - A JOURNEY
The purpose of this blog is to teach myself (and all the readers) how to become a successful poker player. This means starting from $2000 and working my way up to big games.
I will post statistics and strategies as well as stories and facts from the "real life" away from the computer.
Getting to be a successful poker player is not just about playing poker and thinking about it. It's also taking care of your health (both physical and mental), planning your future and other things that have nothing to do with poker.
Journey to big games starts now and I ... better get there.

What a start
I got my account all set up on Monday and started grinding. I 8-tabled PLO50 and played three tournaments. I ended up ITM in one of the tourneys and about 10 buy-ins up in Omaha, so pretty good start.
Yesterday was even better! Started again by 8-tabling PLO50 in which I ended up about 7 buy-ins on the positive side. In between games I also went jogging for 50min so I was feeling good.
Later that night I played two $26 tournaments... and ended up taking 2nd place in the other for $2k. I lost HU due bad beat, but I'm not complaining per se... these two days have been great.
I will make a tournament report with strategic content. I'm not sure if it will be in written format or a recorded replay with commentary. It depends on if there's enough to comment on and if I dare to speak English aloud on a tape lol.
Today it looks like I don't have time to play that much. I'm gonna go to a local wine bar to meet my Canadian friend and his parents. Before that I'm gonna go jogging (again).
Gooooo me!
