Experimental work

Posted 16th February 2008 at 01:43 AM by philjj
Having spent 9 months solely on NLHE (and I don't profess to be an expert and admit I'm still learning), I've recently been entering ALL types of freerolls on PS, Absolute and FullTilt. So far, I've qualified for $2000 entry tokens on PS in both Stud HL and Omaha HL, along with a couple of minor cashes on both AP and FT (pleased with these because they have very few payouts for such large fields) in HORSE and Omaha PL.
The biggest problems I've encountered so far is multitabling and remembering...

Is there a leader board for the community tour games and if so, where can I find it, have been looking over the site but have yet to discover one

Tour

First time I've had a chance to play one of these freerolls last weekend. Had fun, only managed 8th but thanks to everyone (mostly) who made it enjoyable. One or two less than likeable players but on the whole pretty good.

All in - tool, not weapon

Posted 9th November 2007 at 09:00 AM by philjj
I think that the all in bet should be used like a rapier thrust - with precision, not as a bludgeon as seen so often in freerolls and low stakes games. I may answer an all in bet but rarely play it unless playing mind games with an opponent, especially at heads up
