PKR 5.000$ Activity Freeroll

Hi All!

As you've noticed we are have been proud to add an offering for PKR rakeback to our list of poker rooms.

To celebrate this and to give the extra boost for you guys to check their 3D-poker client, we're setting up an activity freeroll worth 5000$.

To be eligible for this tourney you need to register to PKR through us, make a deposit and rake at least one real money hand before the end of January 2009. All the players who've done that previous to this post, ie. during December are also eligible. The odds are quite favorable at the moment, we've got 30 or so players qualified at the moment.

There is no Password - we will use a restricted list of sign ups up until the 31st Jan 2009.

Your tournament will appear in the lobby as "Freeroll#RBK" 48 hours before the start time of 17:00 GMT on Sat 7th February 2009

Registration will open 48 hours before the start.

The tournament will appear as $0.00 until the first player registers.

I would be all over this if I didn't live in the U.S. Good luck to those who can enjoy this promotion.

Default PKR-Freeroll is today at 17:00 GMT, for those who've met criteria.

Hi all,
"Your tournament will appear in the lobby as "Freeroll#RBK" 48 hours before the start time of 17:00 GMT on Sat 7th February 2009"

So it's there now, checked my self. As I said before there will be no separate invitations or codes. Just go there and register.

Good luck to all participants!

Cheers,
Tuomas

Default Not enough registered players

Hi all,
Unfortunately the minimum requirement for players set by PKR for this tournament was 30, there was only 16 so it was cancelled. It is really strange since we've got quite a few signups for PKR.

So anyone got any suggestions? A poll for a more convenient date?

Apologies for those who we're in the tournament lobby at 5 pm GMT, and didn't get to play.

Best Regards,
Tuomas

at least some compensation for the players waiting some weeks for this to play seems normal to me!

if there is a minimum limit of players set, i should be made public, so that everybody know what's up.

i was changing my whole timetable for today to join this freeroll, which was also the ONLY reason for me to join PKR. and now such a thing....

I am really curious if the 16 players who were waiting for that freeroll get any compensation

I am really annoyed and waiting for answers...

Well, why don't you make it happen a month later, maybe some more players are willing to take part.

Yes, the tournament will happen. I find the lack of interest pretty odd, since 16 players is very low compared to the total number of players that met the criteria. Based on that it never occured to me that there wouldn't be enough players, so I apologize. I'll figure this out with PKR next week and will keep you guys posted, Will probably try againg a littlebit later.

Cheers,
T

Default Tournamet rescheduled, and registration is now open!

Hi all,
The rakeback $5k Freeroll has now been rescheduled, the new date is Thursday 19th of February at 17:00 GMT. The tournaments name is Freeroll#RBK. There is no password we will use the same restricted list as before, so it has the same qualifications. The tournament is already in the "Private" lobby as Freeroll#RBK, and registration is now open .

PKR agreed to lower their default minimum players requirement for freerolls of this size from 30 to 20.

Again apologies for those who waited for the previous tournament in vain.

Good luck to all players!
Tuomas

I came back to this site today planning to look through the deals available (and pretty much, sign up) to all those site which I am not yet a member of (everything except Full Tilt and UB, it seems). Looking through the forums I stumbled upon this and seems like I am a month late to sign-in up to pkr .

Do you have activity freerolls running frequently ? I saw the forum for tournies and it was all $100 freerolls in Full Tilt, which I didnt sign up through rakeback. I am particularly interested in knowing about Ultimate Bet (which is where I might be grinding the bulk of my play), but also others except Full Tilt.
