Default £2000 challenge

I have set myself a target of £2000. I am not sure if this figure is achievable as currently my bankroll is £180 and i dnt want to include rakeback payments into this figure. I thougt setting my self a target would help my game as i tilt serverly losing up to ten buyins in a 2-3hour stretch. Then when my bankroll is low play very well until its back up again, so i guess having a target will keep me playing well more of the time.
I am keeping a diary and making notes of positives and negatives of my play that day. This seems to help as i think about what is going into my diary during my play and helps me focus on playing well and not the results. I sometimes thinkg bout the money and not the play and leads me to getting involved in negative ev situations.
Just wondering if anyone has done something like this before and for some tips, and what sort of time frame i should set for myself.

Good luck but I think your biggest problem is that you've misdiagnosed the actual problem here. Your problem isn't that you don't have set targets, your problem is the tilting. Contemplate how to fix that and you'll reach your goal alot easier.

- Only play when you're in the right frame of mind
- Set stop-loss (i.e. quit playing that day if u lose 3 buyins) and adhere to it
- play within your bankroll's limits (30-50 full buyins is usually recommended).
