You got very lucky. Why would you re-raise pocket 10's? His bet suggested higher pair or maybe AK. Either way over time it's best to call and when you flopped quads then milk him. You will lose that hand more times than you win so the more you bet pre flop the more you lose in the long run. Congrats on it holding up this time...
