Default Hand from a home game

Played in a local cash game the other night. Bought in for $40 and walked out with $152. it was .25/.5 blinds, no ante NL holdem.

This one hand, was interesting.

I got K7o UTG, 6 handed. I have around $98

I raise to $2 (super aggressive table most of the night and they've given my raises alot of respect because I've broke 2 people soo far).

MP1 folds

MP2 calls $2 (has $32 left)

CO/Button/SB/BB all fold

Soo flop comes: 4 4 7

I bet $3.50 to see where I am at, and he calls. This guy is an unknown to me, he just joined the cash game recently, and bought into for $10 and was over $50 before this hand.

(Pot: $11.50)

Turn: 2

I check, he checks

River: 7.

I bet out $7.50 giving him odds to call with any kind of pocket pair. He instantly re-raises me all in...........This always a snap call against unknown in cash games.

I called and he said I got two pair, I showed him the king-7 for boat and as I reached for the chips he said "Don't you wanna see my two pair?".....I said sure.......he flips over 2 4s for quads

I sure as hell hope you looked him right in the eye and said, "Next time you try any cute shit like that... I'll remove your balls with a dull spoon." Or at least let him know that it's bad etiquette and extremely bad form to slow-roll like that.

Of course it's an auto call from you. But he was extremely rude and in horrible form.

you should have called Him an a-hole as you scooped up the pot and said "too bad you only have two pair...a full house beats two pair!"

I noticed not a lot of responses, so why did you play K7o UTG? Very poor position with a very poor hand.

Because the table had been respecting my raises all night after I busted 2 players. I could have raised just like that with 32o and people would have gotten out of the way. I didn't care about the .75 in the pot but more about exploiting my table image against villians who were very well aware of table image.

Villian usually played big PP and faces, soo the call from him was kinda surpising. I put the feeler bet on the flop to see where I was, and he just called. Soo I was supicious that maybe he had an over pair and was going to trap me. by the time the other 7 came off on river, I was 100% sure I had the best hand, so I bet enough to give even the PP over a 2.2 to 1 odds to call.

Well then maybe you have learned your lesson, table image or not, a junk hand UTG is basically NEVER worth playing.
