Default how do you play against morons who raise EVERY hand?

I won a £5 Head Hunter on InterPoker today and felt really great after taking off some money; I decided to have another stab at 50c-$1 pot limit Omaha, and I can't believe what happened. I dropped a hundred and twenty dollars on one table in three quarters of an hour. One hand I flop a set of kings with two rags; we're heads up so I decide not to slowplay; this prick has 4 big cards and nothing on the flop, not a draw, nothing. He takes a pot sized bet on the flop and on the turn to suck out with a flush, but another cunt who have over five hundred dollars in front of him was raising every hand he played. I got sick of this and decided to make a stand, so when I had a double suited rap I re-raised. This probably wasn't the best hand to take him on but he'd already cracked my aces with garbage. I had only a pair of aces on the flop but was pot committed, and there were plenty of draws out there; he put me all-in; he had something like J75-deuce, with a flush draw against him. His two pair held up.

I'm sick to death of these fucking morons. I know how to deal with them at Hold 'Em but Omaha is a different kettle of fish. They raise with literally garbage 9 tenths of the time and suck out against premium hands left, right and centre. I had one the other night at lower rate re-raise with QJ32 and suck out with a top straight.

There is a lot of variance in Omaha. You should probably stick to Hold em.

I know these types yea.

U need to play only the premium hands and never chase anything that has less than 10 or so outs. Preferrably u should always have doublesuited hands, fold easily and when u hit your drawing hand on flop, go all the way with force.

Another thing is not to bluff these morons as they would propably call all u can throw at them.

I love Omaha , it's a drawing game and not a lot of new players seem to realize that , I find it has much less variance for an experienced player because the pot sizes are much larger due to the chasers with bad draws , when I find people who raise every hand preflop with garbage I know I have found a very profitable table lol, tighten up , play sweet hands with great draws , don't be scared to dump it if you get a bad flop but more often than not you will hit by playing premium starting hands compared to the junk they are playing , gl

Markie made a good point there too.

One should fold much more than in holdem u would, especially in a full table. Most players overplay AA hands with no suits, as they should play them in holdem. Its the single biggest mistake as u might have the nuts PF, but since its omaha, they most certainly arent going to last much further than the flop.

U need to have 6 different excellent holdem hands to call a hand a premium hand. Only that u need to have 2 different suits if your cards are high ones. If they are low, they still might not do u good, unless u get the bigger hands fold their flushdraws and hit it yourself on top of your str8 etc against another str8.

Ppl should read a book or two before putting alot of money into PL omaha tables. Its a difficult game to master, specially the part of hands u can call or even raise PF.

Variance is still alot bigger than in any other card game I know of, and that is simply because there are ppl who tend to go all the way with any pair and might hit a lucky shot every now and then.. They are losing in the long run but if u havent got enough roll to vope with the fluctuations, u are going to break. And that is why I need a big win from a tournament etc to get a roll big enough to concider playing omaha and expect to win big in the long run.

Now I need a lot of luck to make it over 200$ roll size. Done it 3 times now, but the variance hits sooner or later. At PL25 level its just a few BIN after all.. One day I might make it to the minimum of 750$ but untill that...

You keep on referring to garbage hands. Can you please tell me what you consider a good hand and a garbage hand? No offense but AAxx isn't exactly a great hand and the hands you think are garbage might not be.

Against the aggressive guys who raise everything and anything, you need to 3 bet them more often. By 3 betting, you take control of the hand instead of check/folding postflop when the flop misses you and they are invariably just putting out a cbet with nothing themselves.

Was this towarded to me?

I a hand like QTsJ9s (s for suited) a reasonably good hand for most situations. Excellent hand would be AQsAJs or better, double paired and suited hands like AKsAKs (well obviously) or anything bouble paired , prefarrably over T for both pairs. Lower rundowns can be very good if u can put your opponents on big hands. My hand range usually consists cards that are over 7 and with a spread of 6 max. (a hand like J6sT8s would be the low end of the playable hands. Suits are not so important on lower rundowns since most have suits that easily win ur hand if a flush hits the table.

Hand ranges are a bit too big area to be taled in one post so because I'm not going to list all the hands I concider good you just have to make you judgement based on this post or ask for a more precise questions about my range.
