Yes, on a couple of sites where I don't play cash games (yet.)

But now that I've found this site here, I'm sure there'll be a few more to follow...

I play for real money because its alot more fun, and if you play in play chips people will play stupid and call you with anything.

On full tilt i won first place in a freeroll and got that 15 dollars up too 512, and then lost it all.
I know i shouldve cashed out like 350 of it but i wanted to see how high i could go.

Oh well, its just alot better if your playing for real money.

I play for real money. I funded all my accounts at various sites by cashing in the freeroll tournaments. Trying to do the Chris Ferguson thing. I started playing sit-n-gos at the lowest levels and move up when I reach 50 buy-ins for each particular sit-n-go. trying to do everything by the book (Harrington on Holdem Volumes I, II & III)

I play for real money on Full Tilt. Anything from 8 tabling .5/.10 no limit to single tabling .50/1.00 cash games.

I have gotten away from the tourney picture recently, awaiting a Las Vegas trip in May so brushing up live 1/2 at the local casino, which let me tell you, wow the game has some good free money in it.

I only play games online which charge some amount but their gaming should be amazing. But one thing which I want to share with all of you if money is involved then playing those gaming makes it more exciting. No one will take chance with their hard earn money by playing those games casually. These are the entire factor which makes me crazy for the online games. My love is online poker games and I am playing it from the last decade or so and you will shock by knowing that my craziness towards the game is growing with the time.

I don’t remember how much I made from the game but one thing for sure the feeling of winning is great.

Hello friends I totally disagree with the gentleman name backer who says ‘if money is involved then playing those gaming makes it more exciting’ this statement is rubbish. Money in the game makes the game illegal. Money makes the person addict of the game and the possibility you loss is pretty much high and even if you won then the tax is very high that is deducted from the amount. So in that case what you won is not far above the ground.

maybe he was talking about online games at first, like MMOs? Then I see a bit further down he mentions online poker, which has been the transition that some gamers take from their online worlds to ours.

Illegal? How so? I might be wrong, but I've understood that playing online poker for money isn't illegal even in US, it's the money transactions between banks or internet wallets to poker sites that has been made illegal.

"Money makes the person addict of the game"... Maybe some, but that is up to each person and their mental strength. And in poker the possibility of losing in the long run is extremely minimal if you know how to play and make the right decisions.

"the tax is very high"... Could be, again in the US, I don't know about that. However, in Europe (and I do believe it's the same thing for the entire EU area), your poker winnings are tax free, because a huge bunch of poker sites are located in Gibraltar or Malta, making it EU area where your poker winnings are tax free.
