I had a set hold up!!!

Ok, so I finally had a set hold up for me. This makes the first set to hold up in the last 6 that I've gotten it all in. I got all in 1 of 6 bad (higher set that villain turned) but finally I had one hold up 3 ways!

Here is the hand.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed)

UTG ($6.80)
UTG+1 ($4.63)
Hero (MP1) ($9)
MP2 ($8.41)
CO ($14.18)
Button ($1.85)
SB ($9.90)
BB ($6.36)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 2, 2
UTG calls $0.10, UTG+1 calls $0.10, Hero calls $0.10, 3 folds, SB calls $0.05, BB checks

Flop: ($0.50) 2, 3, 3 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets $0.20, Hero raises to $0.80, 1 fold, BB raises to $3.10, UTG raises to $6.70 (All-In), 1 fold, Hero raises to $8.90 (All-In), BB calls $3.16 (All-In)

Turn: ($20.36) 5 (3 players, 3 all-in)

River: ($20.36) 10 (3 players, 3 all-in)

Total pot: $20.36 | Rake: $1.35

Also might note, I love how big un-raised pots get sometimes.

And yeah, I know it's $10NL, but I still have 45k hands to go before I move up. I'm moving at snail speeds at getting hands in these days. I've had more hand in heads up sng's than cash games. I just can't pull myself away from the heads up games long enough to play the cash games. I might have to force myself to not play HU until I put in my first 50k, then have a bit of fun with HU, then go back to playing the next limit.

I just had another set hold up too against the K high flush draw too for another all in on the flop. Omg... two sets in a row... it feels like things are turning around in my "set" world. I had forgotten what it feels like to get it all in with a set and have it hold up. The funny thing about the hand, he hit the flush on the river, but the board had paired on the turn.

Oh my gosh... I've hit 5 sets in 84 minutes playing 2 tables. They have all held up. One didn't get paid off, one turned into quads and didn't get it all in, but bet it the every street, villain folded the river. Another just got it all in with the other deep stack when he had a set of deuces, I had a set of 5's. I'm hitting freaking set after set and I haven't lost any all ins. This is so crazy.
