| What do you prefer? I am starting to really like playing only online.. Mainly cause I can do it anytime I want. Plus you don't have to jack with the small things like cards and chips. Might sound like a silly reason. |
| |||
| I like to play a little bit of both. Starting out I prefered to play online. I didn't feel as bed and didn't lose as much money when I goofed up a hand. Now that I am learning a little more and have gotten some friends into the game we play at someones house almost weekly now. |

| I prefer to play online. I like being able to play any time of the day and just have a good time with it. My friends aren't that into it so I don't really have anyone else to play with outside of the net. |
| |||
| I like to play live. Playing live poker, it's real and I think it is more fun. You have a chance to chit chat with other players and be more personal. Playing online is more like your addicted and don't want to leave the house. The players don't seem realistic and I think you have more chance to loose. Well, which ever ways you like to play I still say good luck to you . |

| Playing online is fun. I don't have to go driving to a casino. Saves me gas, so I can play more. Playing online is much more convenient. I can also play in the privacy of my own home. Can't beat online poker. If you are lazy like me then online is good for you. Keep in mind that you can not win them all so play wisely. |

| I play online, mostly because I don't really have any friends locally to play with. If I did, I would probably really enjoy that. However, it is nice to be able to play at whatever time of the day or night you want, and not have to leave the house. |

| Personally, I love them both. I love the convenience of online playing... can even do it in my pj's. But the thrill and excitement of playing live in a casino is wonderfully stimulating as well. I don't think I could pick between the two as to which one I like better.

| I too, like PokerPrincess love them both. However, if I have to pick between them I would say that I prefer online to live because as the others have said, you are in the comfort of your own home, you can eat, drink and be merry without having to leave a game and you can do it in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Also as PP says you can do it in your pj's or even your birthday suit if that is how you are most comfortable. Hahahahaha imagine trying that at a B&M. |

| I have never experience playing live but I am having fun playing online. Playing online makes me feel comfortable as to the ambiance, I can just wear anything and most of all, no one sees me making that funny faces whenever I'm losing. Sometimes it?s just so hard to control my emotions that?s why playing online would be most appropriate for me. |

| Most home games I've been to have had the same kind of atmosphere, miley. Now tournaments and casinos are a bit different, but I haven't ran into poker game that has a dress code. |
| |||
| I prefer online play, but that's my only real option. It's a 1.5 hour drive to the closest casino. That, and I don't have to worry about giving away a good hand with my bad poker face . |

| I find that when I go to a casino to play poker, I have a huge adrenaline rush it seems for like the first 30 minutes or so.. but something else i've found is as soon as I draw my first pot, it all goes away and I'm completely comfortable.. I've been working on eliminating the adrenaline rush, and its a little less each time, but right now I can still feel it at the begining, tohugh I dont think it affects my play much.. |
| |||
| See, I would think the adrenaline would come with the first pot or at least grow with the first pot. Taking quaters from my friends isn't that exciting. Taking cash from strangers would be pretty neat, though. |
| |||
| i want to play online and im trying to try it out and see if it is my favorite. but then everyone would pretty much be strangers, so i dont know how good or bad that might be. |

| Well do to the new laws in the United States it looks like soon my only option will be land based casinos. It looks like by the end of the month that all online gaming sites will be illegal for US citizens to play on. I am really disappointed by this as I have been playing poker online for the last 5 years and I really enjoyed it. |
