So basically there is a stay of execution for those of us who couldn't go a day without our online games?

And who knows, this might all just fall to the wayside after the election.

I'm starting to think the same thing, but mainly because I can play without worrying who's going to stand us up and there isn't the whole "personal" aspect.

There's nothing like a live game, you get to chat up your friends and you dont have to type out what you are saying. But then again, you may be playing with some strangers in a live game and wish not to say anything to them. So with strangers online and with friends live. That is my preference.

I would have to say that I prefer playing online. I can sit in the comfort of my own home, and I can play at whatever time I choose. and of course if I want to sit in my pajamas and play I can I like not having to leave the house to play.

There was an online site (the key word "was"), that was going to try and get a poker site going with the miniature cameras on your desktop, so you could see your opponents... I don't even want to think of what you might see...

It's bad enough the "mouths" that are online. Anyone that has played live will know these people wouldn't last to make it to their parked cars if the behaved the same way live.

I prefer live gaming. I think that online gaming takes the personal element out of the game and thus takes a lot away from the game overall. When playing online it is so much harder to pick up on bluffs and tells which is something that I love being able to pick up on with my oponents.

I like to play online, but also enjoy getting together with friends and playing. Playing online can be more convenient and I can also play anytime of the day. I play online about twice a week or so.
