Default New to Rakeback. Saying hi.

Hi everyone I have been a long time player on UB and finally desided to make a switch and deposit alittle on Fulltilt with the rake back bonus. I have been playing the 6 person $.25/.50 tables for about 3 days now and watched my $100 deposit grow to $415. It seems that on full tilt so many people think KJ is worth raising with. I just play like 1K hands a day at about 15% hands played and money just seems to slide my way. And the great thing is I looked and I have earned over $20 in rakeback so far.

The sick thing is to see that FTP has already taken over $100 from me in rake off my pots won. Crazy I would have never guessed that they got that much from one player. They better like me cause they will be getting almost $250 a week rake off me.

Hi and good luck.

I have accounts on 4 sites and have found that Full Tilt has by far the most variance to my bankroll. I haven't found them to be any more or less favorable, but the swings getting there are wild. Maybe it won't happen to you, but my advice would be, be prepared.

Ya I know. I played 6 hours yesterday. I started with $415 in my account in the morning and saw it as low as $340 around 2 hours into it at the $.25/.50 stakes. I lost with AA to KK or QQ 4 times. It was actually quite funny. Then I buckled down and played 14% on the 6 person tables for another 4 hours and finished the day at $634. I hit one table that I sat with $25 and Doubled up first hand with KK when I flopped trips and a guyt flopped a lower 2 pair. Then over the next 45min I got that $50 up to around $89 then doubled up again with AA to KK. $14 in pre then a $10 bet to a pot of $28 a call and a $20 bet on turn (rainbow board with nothing close. Then an A hit river and he pushed trying to show AK or something. I called. I left that table with over $200. Almost 9X what I sat with. It was pretty cool. And im up to like $50 rakeback so thats cool to.

welcome to the site bowlaman, it sounds like you are enjoying yourself, which is good.

It seems your 14-15% vpip in a 6max game is extremely tight, it is what I play in my full ring games. You must have some good table selection to see that much profit, I would think your opponents would pick up on your very tight play and fold to you more often. Anyways I understand about building a BR with a somewhat small starting value, and you really do have to play a tight and low varience game to get where you need to be with as little effort as necessary.

When you do have a sufficient bankroll at your limit, try to open up your preflop game a little bit, because your opponents will start to recognize you and your tight play, and your profits will probably begin to diminish.

Thanks ice. Thatrs really good advice. I am now at $800 I sat down at 4 $.5-1.00 tables late lasty night and was even till I hit QQ called a $4 raise and a caller and hit quads. flop was QQK a check then a $8 bet I called and the first actor reraised all in for $120 and a call by the SB and I called for all in at $108. They held KK and AA AA guy was stupid to move. But totally rough for the SB with top full boat and basically nuts. I woulda been screaming at FTP for days for that hand but since I was the lucky guy that time im a happy guy lol
