Default trip 4's on the flop

no draw outs, just a good hand
trip 4's on the flop (Qs,4c,2d flopped)
all in ahead of me
of course, we all call, don't we?

trip queens show and win after my call.
Only lost a little, but just another bad beat.

All in everytime, they are only holding trip queens only a small % of the time. You got it in good majority of the time

It's kinda like AA .v. KK

I'd prefer losing set over set than some funky runner runner straight or flush. Unlucky this time but you'll be holding the higher set next time, these things do balance out.

Set over set does happen, when it does, it's really hard not to lose all your chips at the table. However, when you have the set over the smaller set, things balance out. Just keep your head up :-)

Default Push

Bet and raise with no fear with no flush draw and a little straight draw on board. If you lose here, bad timing, nothing else.

Note: You were the lessor hand to begin with, the flop changed nothing. 44 is not a very good start, but usually is a winner when a set comes. Many times 44 should consider folding to a pre-flop raise. How did QQ play this? Who was the aggressor? If QQ was betting and raising, you could/should have folded before the flop. As always chip size, game type, player reads, etc come into play.

Default Just what I was saying in the other post

Yeah of course you call.

You have to call VALID hands, Didn't come to fold all day. Just a cooler is all. Tough break.

Ironic though cause I was just talking about 88 or 44 crushing QQ in another post about QQ and his real life casino game.
