Default The turn is the new RIVER!!!!!!

Well Im not going to yell or anything but I think this is very wierd. I played at 6 tables for a few hours and I kept track of all bad beats and suckouts that happened with me (bad beats were considered when I was 70% when I put my money in. Aka getting in with the best and losing. Well I found that for the session I was given 45 bad beats and only got 14 suckouts. Seems kinda lame to know that my opponents for over 2K hands were getting a 400% edge on the luck. And on top of that I only won 38% of the races (45-55% coin flip like 88 to AK) I still managed to come out on top with those numbers due to an amazing table where I sat with $50 and left with $340. But mainly lost an average of 4BB a table without that one.

WHat makes most of this wierd is it seems the river wasnt the bad card or scary card at all. If I got in with overs and a guy called with a flush draw he either hit it on the turn or didnt hit. It was like "well. BOOM you lose or like... Sweat it out ok you win. lol

Whats the deal? does poker like to switch phases to trick you?

If it aint the river it can only be the turn, we're a bit short on options after that aren't we

Seriously though, I think we do go through different cycles whilst playing. Many a time I've been card dead playing a couple of tables and suddenly I start getting playable hands on both tables and then go card dead again on both tables, as if by magic.

The worst though is when I suddenly get stacked on both tables almost simultaneously. I'll get KK run into aces on one table then get AA and someone will flop a set on the other. At least my neighbours will know I'm still alive though
