Default Why I Don't Play JOKERSTARS

Here is the last hand in a $1.10, 45 person sit"n"go.

This is my luck lately & also this is the reason they call it JOKERSTARS.

Meh, you made a bad call on the flop. He raised you, and you should've mucked your hand. Not a whole lot you could beat there, even any ace is ahead, and all you had was two overs with a gutshot straight draw (about 8,7% to hit). If you really thought you were ahead, or wanted to push him out, don't call. In a situation like that it's all-in or fold.

yeah dude that sucks, but you definitely coulda played it way better.. and, if youre gonna play 1.10 you gotta expect to be dealing with terrible players. besides, weve all had way worse beats than that so dont complain until you play the hand perfectly and have him crushed and he miraculously puts a bad beat on you.

I think that a check-raise is always a crappy play. When he bet, I would have put him on a ten or eight, and make me re-evaluate my hand.

I Guess I'd better reevaluate the way I'm playing,as everyone seems to think i played the hand wrong,Hey maybe/probably i did, but thats not why I'm blowing up ,Its that this sort of thing always happens to me on JOKERSTARS (doesn't matter if i have pocket Aces with an ACE on the flop for trip Aces on JS I always seem to get rivered when it counts, IE on the bubble etc)

You didn't play it badly as I see it, you had to try to bet him off the hand, but then again its a $1 sng, why wouldn't he call?

I probably would've folded after the flop re raise...... but when you hit on the turn, I would've gone all in right away....... the suck out on the river......... yeah that's jokerstars, but u bothe went on a suckout roller coaster.

Default RE: Jokerstars

Well for starters I've noticed this same type of occurrence on every online site...not just "jokerstars" - It doesn't matter how good a player is or thinks he/she is, the bottom line is this: These sites attract people who all think they are good...some people have nothing better to do with their money than throw it around at the tables, while others are very serious about the game. Poker IS gambling, and every hand IS a gamble. No matter where you go, or how much you buy in for, you will inevitably run into someone who is either less-experienced or just flat out doesn't care.

What you say is pretty true,(it is gambling)the only thing is, I don't play poker online to make money,I play for the challenge & fun.
I'm not worried about the money that I invest as I'm only playing $1 to $5 tourneys or sit"n"go's

Don't get me wrong,I'm very competitive & I hate to lose money( Its not going to send me to the poorhouse as I only invest what i can afford) I'm always try to win the money & tourney

I only write these blog to vent my frustration at some players & sites, usually after I've written a blog & vented, calmed down, I forget about it & go to the next tourney,(then start the process over again)

That is cool and it's good to hear that you keep to your limits. Many people are not that strong of will. As long as you don't let the "dummies" ruin your fun, there's no harm done. We play thousands, some of us, millions of hands in our time at the poker tables. Don't let one or two of those ruin your good time. (^_^)

Default Beats

Bad beats happen at all levels, especially at the lowest. 1.10 tourneys attract many donks and fish, tread lightly, major major mine field. If someone sucks out on you, then you are getting your money in with the better hand. The odds will even out over time and you will win more showdowns if you are indeed getting your money in with the best.
