Default Why no live shorthanded tables?

Why do you think all brick and mortar poker tables seem to be 10 people full tables, and there are no 6-max shorthand tables?

I was pondering that maybe the process of shuffling, dealing cards to players and table, and figuring out the winner to push the money to are actions that take almost the same amount of time for six or ten people. For live games these processes take much more time than online. Therefore more players to participate and build a pot to be raked is better for casino.
