I don't really know where I stood in the hand at that moment; it doesn't make sense to raise that much with KK or AA but at the same time if you were playing QQ or JJ; why wouldn't you raise a smaller ammount or see the flop and hope that there wasn't any over cards. Any have any idea on what exactly he had? Sorry I don't have anymore information on the hand, its just that he only sat at the table for 4-5 hands prior before doing this. So I didn't have a lot of information. Just an odd push all in.

Not really.. at least, not at $0.01/$0.02 tables. It's not that uncommon to see crazier things than this. You really have no idea what he was holding. His hands could range from AA to 23 offsuit...

If he's fresh off the playmoney tables then AA makes perfect sense

Against an unknown on these limits I'm happy to call and ready to make notes. Far too many people like to gamble and push here with any PP or fancy looking broadway SC's. If he has you beat then you've paid for some valuable information, win win really.

Agreed, this is as micro as it gets, the best of players can get nibbled to death down there. It is very hard to try to put someone on a hand with so many fish in the pond.

Bye,

I would have definately called in this spot. TT is a very strong hand 6 handed. It looks to me like he is looking to gamble in this spot with something like AK, AQ, AJ of even a smaller pair than yours in which case you are a huge favorite. Also, if it is a race and you win, the other guy might rebuy and play worse since he lost the race. And if it is a race and you lose that's okay. You know you got it in with the best hand and it shouldn't affect your play after the hand.
