I sent a support ticket to rakeback. I haven't gotten a response either.

Hello guys,

I moved this thread from General poker Topics to CEREUS forum.

We actually answered to you both already. And you both are qualified to participate in this freeroll. CEREUS will send an email soon to all people who are eligible to participate. So do not forget to check your email inboxes and good luck!

Ok, I got the email response this morning around 5:30am. Which is all good.

I'm registered. I wonder how many total people it will be. Doesn't seem like many now but I suspect it's a lot by tomorrow.

You had to play 100 raked hands before the 20th. If you did this, you qualify. If you're not sure, check your rakeback for this month. They have a count of the number of official raked hands as according to AP. It's every hand that had a rake where you put money into the pot.

I'm pretty sure I qualified if its just 100 raked hands that I put money into. Oh ya I just found it on Ultimate Bet, but I never received an invitation for it. Hmm hopefully it works out.
Is this tournament only for people using rakeback or what?

Well, when we got to the bubble (45 people paid), I was pretty much tied with the player at 46. I had a couple more chips than him... and was officially 45. I had less than 900 chips with 150/300 blinds. But decided that I was going to fold my way into the money if it killed me.

Thankfully, two big stacks got into a pissing match and one of them went broke the next hand. So both of us baby stacks made it into the money. I had to fold the first few hands after the bubble because everyone was going nuts. And as long as I have a chip, I have hope.

Somehow, I managed to triple up, and then double up a couple times. And when the second break started, I was 9th in chips. I am 17th out of 26 right now... but that's another bump in pay. So I am happy with that. After starting the rounds right after the bubble with 2xBB, and needing to outlast another 14 people to go up in pay, I was resigned to just getting right into the money. Every jump from this point on is bonus.

I would really like to final table this thing. But that depends on how the cards fall. I'll post the final results when it's all over.

I finished 102. Got set over set. I was feeling good too, so frustrating.

On the final table right now. There are 6 of us left. I'm sitting on a middle sized stack and feeling ok. But anything can happen.

This is much better than I expected though.

Woohoo...

Sure it's only 4th. But I'm happy with it. I final tabled and made it semi-deep. I really wanted top 3... but I got unlucky at the table. I probably shouldn't have called with the Ace when I did... and the other guy had K-x... and hit his King... but that is poker.

Edit: Not a bad return on my $50 deposit and playing a few hundred hands of $2NL. LOL

Nice job. I was watching final table as well. Couldn't believe some of the plays.

I was in the wrong mindset for this entire game. About 10 from the money, I realized that making the money would cover all my losses on the site to date. And that was my primary goal.

And, then it was trying to make it to the 27th place... then the 18th place... then the 13th place... and then just the final table. When I got to the final table, I was so excited to be getting $170 that I finally started to not worry too much about laddering up.

I didn't give up too much equity during the attempt to ladder up. Although there was one or two questionable folds... where I thought I had a better hand but was willing to just let it go.

I am very excited about this. I should probably cash some of it out. Since I've got money issues at the moment. I hope Absolute doesn't give me problems with that.

I've never had any problems cashing out at AP. I've cashed out via check twice I believe and got the checks within 3 weeks.

I don't know if or when they are. But I hope I know about it again and get in. Because that was a good tournament for me.
