I've mostly been hearing news about the East coast and most of that isn't about massive damage but it's about flooding. Fay is just dumping tons of water on to the state.

Ahhh okay. All I kept hearing about was tornadoes and flooding, but they never bothered to mention farther inland, so I'm hoping that no news is good news.

BTW, congrats on your new Veteran Status!

Wow, I just noticed that. I guess that means I spend FAR too much time on here. What is veteran, 500 posts?

Edit: And someone should congratulate you for having the most posts of anyone on this forum... including all the admins and mods.

You know, I honestly don't know how many posts it is simply because I never paid it much attention LOL I don't really care much what my status says, I just enjoy it here, just like you

Just checked your profile and it shows 502 posts, so it looks like 500 is the mark.

It's got to be like 500. I went and sorted the members by post count and 478 is still senior and 502 was veteran... so it's most likely right around there. It's also how I noticed you had the most posts of anyone on the site. I wish I could say you have more than all the admins combined... but you're only about 100 ahead of mollila.

Well a lot of my posts are just like this....simple conversations. I'd like to think a few were helpful, at least to some folks, but I wouldn't venture to guess all of them were. I always enjoy your poker-related posts, because they are so thoroughly detailed and very helpful. This would be where a chat room would be beneficial, I think, to keep from clogging up the forum with simple conversations.

You've got to do what you've got to do. I don't mind the social conversations on here. I think I ramble too much and too often on poker related topics. On some forums, where I post similar length posts, I often get "tl;dr" in response... meaning "too long; didn't read".

LOL yeah I hear ya there. I often wonder if people are not willing to read a few paragraphs of poker-related material, how do they manage to learn? Or moreover, how do they have the patience to play in general? LOL Makes ya wonder sometimes...

Default How?

OK I received the PW for the makeup PTOTW tourney this Sat.

When I registered I noticed a user I do not recognize, 1shpherd and lady. No big deal, EXCEPT 1shpherd is also registered for SUNDAY already. The Announcement has not been made, how did this user get into the SUNDAY tourney already unless they hacked their way in?

User: 1shpherd who are you please?

Later,

I believe that user is Rosch. There was a problem with the password earlier (I thought) so he was checking to make sure everything was working. He'd sent me a message saying that he was able to register in both and told me to try again, and I eventually got registered. So I believe that could be Rosch still registered to ensure the errors were taken care of. I could be wrong, but it makes sense to me.

It is just like liladypokerpro already figured out, I was testing out the PW's for both tournaments. Winners of the PTOTW#22 on Sunday will be announced today.

Thanks for the nomination. I've signed up to play tomorrow. Didn't know about these free roll tourneys and I think it's a gr8 thing that rakeback does this ...

Wyte, you lucky SOB. There is no way I am putting you on a 6 on that 3-6-3 flop when I had 4-4. I expected to be up against overs or something.

Oh well. Good game everyone, especially the people who played their first time this week.

Without a doubt that was one of the most discouraging games I've ever played.
