Thank you rakeback. I am trying to make arrangements to play in this tournament tomorrow, best of luck to everyone!

Edit: Just registered for both tourneys. Don't know if I can make the deep stacked one, but I will try my hardest. I am more sure that I will be able to play in the HORSE one (as that is my favorite game)

Thanks for the invite. I did register already, but I'n not sure if I can play or not. The tournament starts at 22:00 my time, and I gotta get up for work at 5:50am. That's a little problem for me with these damn timezones...

You'll never get in posting 3 different one line responses to each thread. Instead, if you took the time to write a meaningful response or post... you might be nominated. These are for people who wrote something interesting or that stimulated discussion.

It has nothing to do with rank. You can get nominated in your first couple weeks here. And there are probably people who have been here a very long time and haven't been nominated. Of course, the longer you've been here and the more you participate, the more likely you'll get nominated because, at some point, you have to post something that gets people thinking.

I know within the first few times I was here I got nominated. Like frob had said, posting one liners isn't good if you want to get nominated. And, it makes your education level look like it's that of the 3rd grade.

But if you really want to get nominated to play in one of these exclusive tournaments, then try to take the time and write something of interest. Take a look at the posts here that got nominated and you will see what I am talking about. I got nominated for my first one by posting a topic called: 'Amateurs turned Pro's, did they deserve it?' and it was about the WSOP Main Event amateur winners. This sparked a lot of people to talk about what they thought about which was very interesting.

I soon started to get really interested in these tournaments. I was looking at new topics, putting my two cents into long, thought out posts, and I would get thanked and nominated for them. So it's all about being yourself and posting interesting topics of replys.

Congratulations LakeDweller for taking first place. And good job taking second play4pizza.

It was a good game. I'd like it if they continued the deep-stack NL Hold'em games in the future. Where you have enough chips to make it interesting.

Thank you everyone. I really tried my hardest to cash, as I literally had $6 to my name. Now it's time to find someone who will transfer funds from there to FTP to withdraw it.

And good game Lake. It was a mix of both you playing well, and my luck running out. Lol. But I would say that it was more of you playing good.

Good game from everyone. In truth, my cards got hot at the right time.

I'm now 3 for 3 in these.

But Double Stacked and Super Stacked tournaments are more favorable to the better players. And with Poker Nordica's blind system, it's probably best.

I agree, I liked this format much more. Perhaps they will continue in the future with it, I hope...it made for a longer and more interesting game.

I'm glad you cashed, gamer...it was well-earned. And great job Lake for taking home the gold. Congrats!

Yes, it was good for the action. I think they should request to have double stacked every time, and when you want to have a double stacked tournament with your regular double stacked tournaments, just request for a super stacked tournament. So double stacked tournaments for the regular tournaments, and super stacked for longer action like this one was intended for.

Because PokerNordica is kind of funky with tournament structure, so you have to kind of work around that. Hope this helps everyone in the future.

Also, this tournament is supposed to be for the best player. If you have regular stacks with kind of high blinds, then luck will rule this game. So double stacked and super stacked tournaments would be best for this outcome.
