May not be able to make it, but gl all in and out of the tourney.

If I see that at least 5 people register so that all 3 places pay out I'll unregister if I can't make it so y'all don't have a sitter to deal with

I just registered! Glad to be invited again..
Although, my account name on Poker Nordica is IMM0RTALD0NK... instead of SILENT_AC3S. Will that stop me from being able to win money?

Nah, so long as they know you're a member here, the names don't have to match. Mine is a variation of this name and I've never had problems. They're more worried about people trying to guess the password or stealing it from another player. In that case, they would ask the site to not pay the player.

I did the same thing too!!!!! I woke up in a panick. I came out to my parents' house on a Friday night... which is something I usually only do on Saturday nights, so when I woke up, I thought I had slept through the tournament.

J10 vs QQ for your tourney life! When bashing others, please don't forget about your own suckouts.

Anyway, overall good tournament. Can't believe gamer beat my JJ with AQ, and then my QQ with AK. But, it was fun. I love me 4th.

Yeah same problem here too...oh well...hard to understand how someone could talk so much smack and then turn around and play that way...but, whatever works I guess...everyone has their own strategy...Phil Hellmuth talks smack to tilt people, then plays however he wants against them...maybe Hownot2playpoker has a similar strategy... *shrugs* who knows...

Anyway, had fun guys...off to work now...

Good game eveyrone.

Granted I was a bit ticked off that I lost to a runner runner to Goool's 10J v. my QQ all in pre flop. But like I said, after the break, I was cool and played an ok game. Made two REALLY dumb mistakes (calling two all-in's with A3) that got me out of the tourney, but what are you going to do? Just one of those stupid moments that you know you played wrong.

Happy with my 3rd place finish.

Ok....... Tourney life wasn't very relevant, we were nowhere near the bubble. Now, the shove was for less than 5BBs (think the stack was like $1400 with $150/$300), include the dead money and we get me needing 14/32.5 = 43.1%. I ignore overcalls as they're so unlikely. Against a range of:

22+, A2+, KT+, QJ,

A4s is 43.7% so +EV. This is probably a good rough estimate for someone who's shortstacked with the blinds approaching. So it's probably roughly a meh decision. Either way it's nowhere near as bad as you guys are making out. Not my fault he's almost at the top of his range.

Feel welcome to tell me that what I wrote is crap and you still think I'm a massive fish.

I don't think calling my all-in was necessarily that bad, I can have some good kings in there and you only need 39% (I think 3.5/9 roughly) to call by then. My range is probably tighter b/c you weren't raising from the button 3-way, but it def. wasn't as bad as you seem to think.

Agreed. I never faulted the short stack for shoving with A4 suited to diamonds.
