There was no break yesterday... we finished in under 57 minutes.

This one might make it to a break... but I am not sure. There are only 7000 chips in play and the blinds will be pretty big right before the 1 hour mark.

Edit: Wow... now that it's at 3 people with stacks of 450, 860, and 5690... I highly doubt the break will come.

I'm going to get in a premature congrats to Vito... for making the money twice in a row. That's a great run.

And right as I say that, it's over. Vito took 2nd again. But you know, 2nd twice is a row is a great accomplishment.

yeah congrats Vito. i got put out this calling the bluff .. was fun though.. it seemed as Vito could come up with the win. i was rooting for it till the end.. even elimited players can only chat for 1 min after the boot. Hope to play again soon this is a interesting way of doing it. now maybe we can Add a ranking system and @ the end of the month offer a freeroll for the winners? ..... something to think about.. hell. even yearly freeroll just some type of points system.. to track wins and placings in the top 3 !!!

I think I may have come up with a way for all the players to chat together during the PN tourneys......you know, for the rail birds and the folks that get put out, etc...

I have created an account on a site called meebo.com.......it's 100% free, and there's no download... I have a room on there which can hold multiple chatters...kind of like a chat room, only private....so only the people I invite to join it can see it or join in.

If anyone else thinks this is a good idea, let me know, and we can see about getting a room set up for rakebackers who are nominated to join in the chat room so they can keep chatting with each other despite whether they are in or out...

Even if I am not nominated for a particular game, I will still open the room and moderate it for the players who are taking part.

The only catch of course is no in-game chat would be allowed...meaning that since everyone would be in the chat, you can't talk about your hands, etc...because - well, stating the obvious, it wouldn't be fair LOL

Yeah, some kind of chat thing would be great, There were so many times I wanted to jump in on the conversation but wasn't able to.

Of course, discussion of the current hand would have to be disallowed even for people on the rail and not just people involved at the table. I think that it would be ok to talk about a hand once it has passed... just like at a normal poker table. Since that wouldn't normally effect the action of the current hand.

I agree. Alright I have opened a poll for this topic PTOTW Nominee Chat so look for it, read up on it, and vote. If you vote, PLEASE let me know who you are and what you voted so I can keep track of all who are interested. If we get enough people interested, I will get the interested parties set up on the meebo system so that hopefully we can test it out on next weekend's tournament.
