~ There is at least one person I know of who is unable to download and run the Nordica software due to incompatibility with his software / hardware. Is there anything that can be done for nominees who are unable to participate due to software / hardware conflicts?

Thanks.

I am going to try and see if I can get this site working under emulation but I don't hold much hope for that. Very few sites work and I hear that PokerStars only works as well as it does because they have developers that work to ensure that it continues to work smoothly under emulation.

If it doesn't work... that's life. I really can't complain when it's free money we're talking about.

I don't have any emulation on the macbook. But I do have wine on the BSD workstation. I have tried installing it and running it under wine. I am playing a play money ring game at the moment to see how it feels and if it can run without crashing. So far it's slow but running.

There are a few things I think are wrong but it might be a problem on my end or just the way the software functions.

Of course... right as I type this it appears to have locked up. So we will see.

Yeah, it was locking every 3-4 minutes and hanging. The lobby would seemingly wander off and exist but refuse to respond to input after a certain time. And then it ended up crashing Xorg completely. So, we'll have to see if I can make it.

Which program? Because I can't see paying $80 for a program like Parallels to just run one poker site so I can play there. At the time, I have no other Windows software... aside from PokerStars and that runs perfectly under wine.
