That quad Ks hand was a great hand. Yeah, it stinks for the player who had a Q... because you just can't think someone has a K when there are 3 of them on the board. When that river came, I am sure he couldn't put you on a K... and just assumed you were trying to bet him off playing the board. On the turn, he might have been worried about you having a K and the bigger full house. But when that river came... how unlucky would it be if you had a K? Well, very unfortunate for him but you had it.

I don't know... I found that hand interesting on every street... as I tried to place each of you on something. In the end, he was almost forced to go all-in when he was unable to beat the board... because there were so few ways he could be losing... you needed K-x or AA to have a better hand than the board and that pot was large enough to make the call. At least, I think it was. In his spot, I would have probably made the call and gone broke there as well.

My favorite hand of the game:

ME:
VILLIAN:

We were all-in pre-flop so there was no action. The final board:

I flopped the flush. But he flopped two pair. My sister was yelling in my ear, "You have it... you have it... you flopped the flush!" My only response, "He needs a 3 or a 5 and he wins."

I wasn't exactly blown away when the river arrived. I loved the hand because it was such a powerful flop for both of us. Yeah, I was ahead but it was exactly the type of flop that gave the other player a real chance to put a nice beat on me.

You hit the nail on the head lol It went exactly as it should have with all things considered At any rate, it was definitely a short tourney and definitely fun See y'all tomorrow afternoon, same time, same place
