Firstly I want to say rotating sites is an absolutely awful idea. I think the concept of the tourney rewarding good posts is pretty good, but something like bi-weekly with double the prizepool would be better. However, it seems really strange to not continue with the current idea while researching new ones, so I'm guessing this is money-related. I don't really know what ideas you could come up with that cost less than $100 per week though.

On that note, has anyone else noticed how the forums have dried up since the PTOTW was cancelled?

I have wondered the same thing the whole time. It seems like it's a money related issue to me.

Yes, I have definitely noticed several users no longer posting. The forum is drying up.

Edit: So... on that note... PTOTW>No PTOTW.

My reasoning has nothing to do with that, honestly. It's just that since my money options have been revoked on many of my usual sites, I haven't played all that much. If you don't play much, you don't have much to discuss or talk about. If the sites would make up their minds whether or not they're gonna let us stick around and play for real, then I'd have a lot more to talk about a lot more often. As it stands, all I can do is comment on other people's posts, and that's kinda hard to do when hardly anyone is posting, or else new people are digging up old stuff for some unknown reason and adding strange or spam comments lol

Hell, I did not even know myself the ptotw was stopped. Must have been a miscommunication here on our end, as when we discussed about changing the system to something more manageable here among the staff, my intent was that we'd just give a notice about our intentions beforehand and otherwise continue as is. Apparently a stop and go tactic was implemented instead..

I'll be sure to look in to this tomorrow when back at the office. No worries anyone, I love quality content and encouraging the community to participate. We'll whip up something.

Yay! I love the PTOTW tournies. I really like single table through a few table sng's much more than huge tournies.

Thanks for looking into that.

Bty, if the decision were up to me for who would get nominated, why not invite mollila for the following thread:

Best Day Ever at Rakeback.com

The "I"'s have it, mollila is here by invited into the next PTOTW! Good luck mollila! Hope to play you there!

And yes, bounty > no bounty for sure, but it's ok if no bounty. Would be an even playing field for us to play against him. When is the next tourney (that is, if it is going to be any while the concept is being revised)?
