Default where to play

Hi, I'm loooking for a new place to play that offers rakeback. Currently playing on Full Tilt and have played on Absolute in the past so they are out. Anyone who hasn't sighed up for a rakeback site I would recommend FT lots of games and traffic unfortunatly I signed up after I discovered r/b. Am looking for a site that has lots of games (I play everthing) and lots of traffic at all times(I work midnights and play at odd hours).Would like something that also has agood signing bonus along w/rakeback. Also if there are any sites that you have had problems with let me know so I can avoid them. If anyone knows how I could get rackback through sites I have already installed(F/T -Absolute).that would be appreciated. Have done allright on FT but it would be nice to get some of my rake money back-I usually play 20-30 hours a week. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks Rob

Hi Rob,

Welcome to Rakeback. We have signed a 30% rakeback deal with Vegas Poker 247, that is a skin to the Absolute Poker network. This deal will be put live to our website this week, after they have created our referral code for us.

So you should be able to play with rakeback on this network as well.

Sad story. I just signed up for rakeback on another site for Vegas because it wasn't offered here. Too bad I didn't know that was coming...

...A tip for Vegas - If you don't like the dark neon-y tables they force you into by not letting you download skins, just replace the [Program Folder]/data/bg6.dat and bg9.dat files with the ones from the same folder in your Absolute program directory. If you want to get fancy you can copy the files from that gameimage folder to change the cards and stuff too. I've basically made Vegas look exactly like Absolute.

Also, if you get someone to refer you (as I found out by accident) by doing the "Refer-A-Friend" from the lobby, they will give you an extra $50 on top of the initial deposit bonus and rakeback (I actually did all this last weekend). If you don't know anyone with an account already, I'd be happy to help.

Sorry to hear that. The latest word today from Vegas 247 is that they have submitted our referral code to be activated and we are waiting for that before being able to put the promotion live.

I wouldn't encourage anyone to try something like this with any poker room. With every site we have worked with so far, Refer-A-Friend codes override rakeback referral code or link. This will cause player to miss rakeback.

I thought that's how it worked too. I guess at one point I was referred and didn't know it (they sent a referral email from the poker interface a long time ago). I never entered a referral core or anything when I signed up, it just recognized my email (I assume) from the other person adding me as a friend a long time ago. The actual referral code I entered was the one from the rakeback site. Honestly, I didn't even realize what happened until I had an extra $50 and the other guy had an extra $75 a day after I signed up. Maybe it was a fluke though, I don't know.

Ok, so looks like they just fixed some error on their part by letting you have the refer a friend money as well.

With Absolute Poker at least, if a player does not follow our rakeback sign up instructions and enters anything in the Referred by friend field, that overrides our rakeback referral code and player does not get rakeback.

Have not specifically asked for the calculation formula yet, but should be as they are a skin site that uses Absolute Poker back end. I will nevertheless find this out.
