I see other rakeback sites offering Rake Races for Full Tilt Poker, is this something that could be done by rakeback.com too?

Rakeback.com you need to add rake races if you want your site to remain one of the biggest in the industry. Rake races is the single most important factor in determining which rakeback site the biggest players choose to use.

I have spent most of my history here on RB. Would one of you please explain to me exactly how a rake race works?

I suppose it has to do with generating the most rake (in which case I don't stand a chance).

You've pretty much summed it up. The top x amount of rake earners will be awarded a structured share of whatever the prizepool.

What might be more appealing to you would be a monthly freeroll if you rake x amount of $$$. One site offers a $5k freeroll for anyone who grosses (is this a word?) $100 in rake per month.
