Default 21 game no cash slide

I just got off a slump of 21 sit-n-go games with no cash.
DEVISTATING
This lasted for about a week.

But never give up.

I just played 3 sit-n-gos and cashed in all three this evening.

When you play enough poker as I do, the bad streaks to happen.

Humbling game.

I hear you there. I had a bad run of 6 non-cashes...close but no cookies...then won two small ones, then lost another small handful...3 or 4 I think. I already know why the latter of the group were lost, however, and it was my own fault. I was playing out of boredom, and was tired...two bad combinations for profitable poker. So, adjustments will be made, and future games should turn out for the better.

Default 4 in a row for cash

played another sit-n-go tonight and took 1st, make that 4 in a row for cash.
can I go 21 in a row winning now?

funny game, and a lot has to do with the donks at the tables.

be careful out there.

Default slide through the tough spots

The 21 no cash slide were all $10 sit-n-gos

I have limited myself to the$10 simply playing the 5% rule. (as discussed in other 'chris ferguson' posts).

I usually frequest the MTT's, but was not keeping track since I did cash during this STT slide.

This was the worst slide I had ever for the simulated final table action.

In one of last nights 1st place finish I was dealt the following in order: AK, AK, AJ, AQ, 1010, & 88. I took down each hand.

The swing is going the other way!

These are the times when I'm thankfull for the cash tables. So far, I've made all my buy ins back and then some. But, I think I've figured out the problem as far as my own slide. I was on a great run of winning tourneys back when I was not working, and was playing during the early day/afternoon, when there were a wide variety of different tourneys to choose from. Now, I'm limited to only the wee hours of the morning, when tourney choice is extremely limited on Nordica. So I've been "settling" for tournament choices I normally wouldn't bother with. So, I'm going to just wait til the weekend when I can play during the time of day that seems to suit me best, and hopefully this slide will turn around.

hmmmmm....... let's do the math - 21 no cashes x 5% of bankroll = busted bankroll.

The only way your bankroll would not have bust is if you truly followed Chris Ferguson Challenge, and reduced your buy-in to $5 when your bankroll dropped close to $100.

Default the math isn't wrong

When I started my slide I had about $300 in cash. (at AP)
It may look like the 5% rule had been broken, however with money at other sites my discipline has not been compromised. (currently playing at 4 different sites)

I guess my buyins are less than the 5% rule, but I have never deposited any money. My winnings have come originally through freeroll wins and a slight deviation from the 5% rule with my buyins.
My biggest buyin is $50 and I cashed in that game.
Fairly conservitive, but willing to gamble.
Ready for the next level. Any advise would be appreciated.

I am up to 7 cashes in a row since my 21 game slide.

Continuing to dominate!

Congrats! Glad we both managed to break the slide.

I've got 3 cashes under my belt thus far, all coming from day games. I figured my problem was that I was settling for less than satisfactory tournaments in the wee hours of the morning when I am usually able to play. The tourney selection at these times of morning is very minimal, so rather than waiting for more productive tournaments, I was playing and shouldn't have been. Now that I've fixed this error, my slide has ended.

Best of luck in all future events!
