Third nuts.

(1st) J-10h, (2nd) 4-4. (3rd) Q-Q

Nothing really to help with though. I am not folding this hand when there are only two exact possible hands that beat me (and only one way to make each).

I got one for you......how about pushing with 99 with no possible anything on the board to beat it, and some dufus calls with 3 10 os (no pair, no nothing) and hits a 10 on the river......costing $194.00!!! Now THAT is a bad break! lol

Oh no sweetie, I am no pro...Perhaps one day, but as for now I'm only aspiring to be one. I got this nickname from some friends of mine...everytime I'd get invited to one of their home games they'd say "Uh Oh, here comes Little Lady Poker Pro" or "Oh no, here comes Annie Duke" LOL Needless to say I don't get invited to very many of their games anymore LOL

It's not so much FTP that you can blame. It's the betting, and also the Calling station that called you... but the other 20:1 times your going to win. You want 37 to call you any day of the week. I played a live tourny last night, and to add: i played it perfectly! and won. But watching some of the hands. I folded A3 to a raise around the bubble, and 2 other people were in the hand so it went to showdown... one with KK and another with miono. something. but the flop didnt help. and then turn was a 3... river was a 3. It doesnt happen just online, but also live aswell. It's good to play a few live cash games or tournys, and to watch what cards fall, and see that, "oh yeah, if i have of played 93 that hand I would have hit trips, and turned a full house"

Also on another note: I had my luck go my way for me in the tourny last night. I had JJ on the BB, and was short stacked 3 handed, I said "if i push here, im going to get called either way" So i checked the BB. Flop came KQJ (2 spades), I think SB checked, I bet 6000 (Blinds 3000/6000), Button folded (I think), SB goes all in. I called. SB turns over 9T, Turn = blank... River = Queen. Full House over Stright. See even in live games a SuckOut can happen. This knocked the SB out of the tourny, and it was game on from there.

Point to all this, it's not just online that suck outs of badbeats happen. It's just poker. But with out a doubt you want 73 to call every time you have AA, and you have to take the good with the bad. Anyways, this has been my motivational speech for the day.

But sorry to hear about the runner runner. You will make it back. Make a note on that player too. Maybe even track him down and get on his table. If you know what his like, you can take adv. of that... Maybe?

Although MikeyInc. I have noticed on FTP alot of hands that you might see get up maybe once or twice in 1000 hands... but to see alot AA vs KK and both flop a set... or a Set over Set, and bottom set hit Quads. This I cannot explain. Maybe it does happen more online, who knows. I have noticed that on FTP though... if you have the best hand preflop/postflop, 95% of the time it will hold up. Unlike on JokerStars... which is more like 5% best hand preflop/postflop winning.

I've noticed AA losing to hands like 66, KK, 44 etc... a lot. Both on FTP and "Jokerstars" Heck, I've even seen it happen at home games. It's part of poker, and it does happen.

I have been using PokerOffice to track my bankroll and hands I win... and lose with, etc. (Amazing app i must say) And apart from one other hand, AA is actully still my most profitable hand. With a win ratio in the high 80% mark, based over being dealt it 50 odd times. I cant remmeber exactly.
In the end... It is only one pair. Nuts Preflop... and could turn out to be dead postflop.

I agree great points made there...the good always comes with the bad and if you can't choke down the bad then the good will be harder to reach
