for me 3000 chips because you can play alittle looser in the begining while blinds are small, play cards that normally would be folded.

Most of the KO tournys with 3000 starting chips are turbo's, so blinds go up a lot faster. I dont really like turbos, because it mostly comes down to people going all in on a coin flip. I like standard tournys

I think the K.O. tourneys were a great idea for full tilt to add. I'd prefer 1500 chips with a non-turbo format.
K.O. tourneys spread the money around and give player's more ways to get cash back.
One time I played a $24+2 and final table and busted out 20+ people. I was catching cards like you wouldn't believe.

ive dabbed in some KO tourneys on fulltilt and ive airballed them all, with like 1 KO in 8 tourneys or something mad weak, so i guess i prefer the 15 hundos. but if the question was 1500 or 3000 turbos straight up, then obv 3k

I prefer the larger chip stack for obvious reasons...as someone else said, you have the opportunity to see more hands cheaply during the low blind levels. However, I don't tend to care much for the turbo tournaments unless there are not too many entrants. The turbos can be uncharacteristically hectic, but I have done well in both the normal and turbo formats, so I guess it just boils down to being able to adjust according to the differences of each.

If it's normal speed, I have to take the 3k KO tournament. I am not a big fan of the KO tournaments but they also don't worry me and I think the more starting chips will mean more to me.

in the first one, like 6 people including 2 on the first hand with AK>AJ>44 when i hit top 2. 2nd won, amazingly i knocked out noone. my aces got cracked by the same guy twice to cripple me, but then he doubled me up right after both times. i got screwed on the FT tho, guy was riasing every hand, i push with A10 he calls with A5 and hits a 5, otherwise im chip leader, oh wel.
