K to start off I actually played Omaha High low in the very begining before hold em. I love that game. The calculations you need to make in that game make texas hold em look simple. 3 of a kind is not a very strong hand on a flop even. But I could not play multi table if I played it like I can holdem.
I found out though that playing hold em was easier. I played fake money but that game doesn't even represent a true texas hold em game where money is involved. Every one shoving there chips in with any 2 cards. They could have 2 UNO cards and shove.
So I decided I would play for real money instead. I don't have the greatest bankroll so I play lower limit stuff like .05\.10 .10\.25 and just got into .25\.50. what I noticed during this time was that I was glad I switched to real money because it is TRUELY differn't than fake money even though the rules are the same.
Number two though is that ppl are still stupid in lower limits. I mean just horrible calls and bets. Well in my recent ventures into .25 \50 I noticed that the level had just changed again and that ppl actually played real cards. Yes bluffing goes on.
But I mean where I was losing earlier because PPL would make a stupid call and catch at the lower limit, they would fold and not catch and my hand remained solid because it was a 20 $ all in not a 5$.
Yes some of you might truely laugh at my limit, but as I said I dont have your bank roll obviously, I do play 3 to 4 tables at a time though. What I am saying is that I noticed I was not taking as many bad beats from total CRAP. yes I had bad beats but the ppl usually had valid hands not the usual DONKEY CRAP I was used to. So I also noticed that I was starting to do alot better at the higher limits because I was playing smarter players, Not DONKEYS. I can also say I played better poker myself because the higher you go the more you watch your A$$
Cant wait to step up again.
