Well, I learned to play blackjack at quite a young age; my family was into it. I had a boyfriend in college who played, so I learned a few things, but wasn't really spending any time on it or anything. It was after college in my mid 20's that I started learning more about Texas Hold 'Em and spending more time playing.

Interresting for me,because i am now 14 and begun to play 2 years ago,one year ago with realmoney^^ I hate this 18 year age rule too, because it's a strategy game,it gives many sites, where you can deposit for points for example (bigpoint.com),there your age isn't important, why then on poker? Well,my carrear was so:i begun to play on titan poker, then i finished in a freeroll in the top 50,which gave me 1$... With that 1$,i played a bit 0.02/0.04$ limit holdem cashgame... Played around 2 hours, and had 3$ then... after that,i played a few 20 cent sit and go's,where i was a bit lucky and made out 4 sit and go's 2,50$... Next day,i made the next dollars, and played then a 2$ 12 man sit and go,which i won too (think there i was lucky too...). But then i made a mistake:i played 0.10/0.20 holdem cashgame, where the opponents were better, and lost around 5-6$. The rest of my bankroll there,i lost in a rebuy tournement (i was untilted)... After that,i found a pokerschool, which give you 50$ on partypoker + a 100$ bonus after 5000 raked hands... so i signed up there, and a few days after that,i had my 50$... I played a bit NL10$ (first time i played no limit cashgame),and lost the first 10$ there (i played often 6 tables....). Then i played limit holdem cashgame, where i had a upswing ( 12BB/100 hands),and had in a few days a 75$ bankroll. With my 250 Big bets,i changed to 0.15/0.30$,pllayed there a few days more... when my bankroll was 110$,i cleared the bonus and changed with my 210$ then to NL10$ again, but now with bigstackstrategy (i played first shortstackstrategy) i done good there and 20k hands later,i had a 300$ bankroll, with that i changed to NL50$ shortstackstrategy... I play now NL25$ bigstackstrategy (have around 600$ bankroll),i think this limit is a good limit to make money.... Every end of the month, i cash out the money, which is over 600$ bankroll (around 100$). So i make good money there, and don't need a boring job like sell newspapers or something ![]()

Mid twenties I would say. Somehow high school and college passed me by without my getting hooked on the game or really experiencing it at all, but I am making up for that lost time now. ![]()

I started play at about 7. My ma and her sisters would play at least once a week and of course i always had to tag along. They played the strange games (baseball, follow the queen, roll your own just name a few) but they did teach me the idesa of betting and reading other people hands. When i joined the navy we use to play alot of stud or draw.
