Omaha 8/B...my favorite game Omaha 8/B is my favorite cash game. I was wondering how many people feel the same way?
My best Omaha 8/b moment: I flopped royal, opponent flops set, turns full house, rivers quad tens. $680 pot, no low.
Worst Omaha 8/b moment: Turned nut low with nut flush (nut/nut at the time). One donk I was sure was calling down with nut low, the other guy bet/called my raise. River cf my low and gave 1 opponent straight flush and the other nut low. I got rolled big time as I was sure my nut flush was good for half.
Anyway, I encourage people to check it out. I do not play straight Omaha. Omaha 8/b is sooooo much more profitable.
Also play limit. so many people see the flop that it minimizes the impact of getting quartered and maximizes your income potential. Pot Limit is 2nd best and NL is suicidal. NEVER play NL omaha 8/b.
Here's the kicker: This game is way more simple than Texes HE. Trust me.
