Default Online vs in person

How many players here enjoy playing online vs sitting down around the table and playing in person?

I was just talking about this in another thread. I like playing on the internet better because in my case it really does take the pressure off. I have been playing for 3 years now and I still don't have the "poker face". whenever I panic you can see it in my face. When I am at home no one can tell so it takes a big load off my shoulders.

I agree with metalmaiden55.

I have played both online and at the casino, but I do prefer online. You feel that you have a little more time, with not as much going on around you. I appreciate that you are not able to read peoples faces, but it is possible to pick-up on the habits of opponents, when playing online.

The amount of people I have seen who go in heavy, with nothing in their hands, just after they have lost a big hand. You would be surprised.

well, it's definitely harder to anticipate the next move of the other players if you are playing online...

it would probably be more convinient for me to hide my poker face if I play online... because if people see my actions then I might lose after about 10 hands...

I prefer in person 95% over online. Seems to be more BAD BEATS online then in person. Also I prefer to see my opponents. They have those e-poker at the bike, hustler, and hollywood park casinos, but not too many people on those tables. It's hard to even get a game on them. I think they're a waste of time.

online no match for live poker....poker is all about live play - online poker and live poker are 2 different monsters.

I like online poker because of the multi table factor. It allows me to be way more patient. When playing a live cash game and donks are playing every hand you can get into that style.
