Default Other Factors at Play

There are also other factors that should influence your pre-flop strategy. These are: Number of players: With more people, it's much more likely that someone else has a strong hand in the pocket.

I have often pondered the difference in dynamics with different sizes of tables. It's quite fascinating how things change when some players bust and you end up with just a couple of you left.

I have noticed this too. My whole approach changes in these situations.

I think the time of day is an influence due to possible changes in quality and types of players you encounter, however I have yet to formulate a solid opinion on exactly what the effect is.

I agree on size of tables. I find myself playing much more aggressively when only a few players remain. Odds are simply that much better that my hand will be the winner.
