Default Playing in a HU tourney and omg

Got Villian down to 100 chips.......100 chips, I have 2900. Let me repeat, he has 100.

Ok, soo first all in my QT .v. his 89...... board is 2 4 4 2 K.......Split pot....grr

Next all in. My AK .v. 94. Board (in order): A 2 3 9 5....Villian rivers str8.

Next all in My K9 .v. his K6 Board: 4 K 5 8 7 ......Villian again river str8

Next all in My QQ .v. his 104dd Board: Qd Tc 5d 9s 2d........Villian river flush

Soo next thing I know, I am down to 1100 chips lol. I outplayed him the entire way back and got chip lead again and FINALLY finished him off. omg I need to scarifice some donkeys or fish or something because the Poker gods be mad at me!!

I guess because I wanted to take today off but I ran out of things to do around my house and all 3 forums I am on alot are all dead tonight lol. Soo it is a poker tournament!

Just awaitting round 2. It looked like I might have been able to go take a nice long break but pshh on that =\ 4 players until next round.

LOL... a similar thing happened tonight when I was playing a 9 player sit and go. I sortof have the chiplead (I have been tearing him up heads up).

898-12,602... granted this is only a 14-1 chip lead (and not 29-1 like you had) but still he's crushed. The blinds are 200/400 with an ante of 25. He's got two freaking BB left. AND he's in the BB.

I have A-7... which is phenomenally better than I need to put him in.

I put him in, he calls with 3-6. [I forgive this because what was he honestly going to do, fold?]

[Qd 9s 3h 8s 6d] His two pair kills my Ace high.

Now it's 1,796-11,704

He folds the SB. Then he folds the BB when I raise the next hand. This guy was so weak heads up it was sad.

Now it's 1,146-12,356

I post the BB and he raises 721 and goes all-in. I have A-5 and make the easy call. He turns over A-2. I have him DOMINATED.

[2h 3c Ks 9h] [2c] He gets trips... I get a little more frustrated. He will NOT die.

Next hand I have 8-9 he has T-9... we both hit top pair. He doubles up again. Then I hit top pair with an Ace and he hits trips... and before you know it... it's: 6,317-7,183. Basically even especially with the way the blinds were. And I could not afford to be losing hands here.

At one point it reaches 6,517-6,983 which was closer than I ever wanted to see. Almost exactly... 1xBB difference. I managed to get control back and won. But that was a freaky comeback for me. Especially since I could practically taste the first place money.

Edit: Funny enough, when the money went in for the last time, I had the worse of it. He was short again (predictably) and I bet most of his stack with J-8. He put the rest in with A-10. Even if I had known his hand, it was like 992 more and I couldn't fold for that much. [Kd 4h 2s 8d 8c] and my turned and rivered 8s finally killed him.

yep, and the beats keep on going. JJ .v. 75o (mind you like your villian, he was short, HUSTT with 400 chips left). Board was 7 7 2 5 7.

Soo After dropping 3 str8 matches, I move down a level to $22 HUSnGs.

Got villian under 350 chips 3 times!! everytime, he'd win the all in no matter what I had. but this hand really almost tilted me.

I had AJo
He had KQo

Flop: A 8 6. basically, we get all the money in the middle

Turn: J

Wyteman: Watch, T will come on the river.

River: T

Villian make Boardway and Wyteman has 2 sad pair

Couldn't, I'd move all in with AK, get called by K2 and he'd flop a 2 and win. I lost every single all in situation in the $22 HUSnG

Out of the 5 matches I played, I lost 17 of 19 All ins. 14 or 15 of those 17, were decided on the river. Like I could have AT and he Could have A5, we flop an ace, and he'd river a 5.

Edit: I lost all 5 matches but I am in a 90player KO tourney and doing good, think I am gonna give up HUSnG for awhile LOL

sounds like you guys are playing on full tilt!

i had the same thing in a shootout satellite for an FTOPS tourney yesterday, had the guy heads up and i couldn't win a 70-30 or 60-40. i had 66 at one point and he pushed with K6, hit a K. if i had A-rag and he had KJ/KQ/QJ he'd hit every time. he won all 3 all-ins when i'd gone in as favourite. it does get annoying after a while!

I agree with you all, and have found that site and most other sites to be very streaky. When its good, its really good and when its bad, its really bad. So I use that to my advantage. I ride out the good streaks, cash out and go to another site for awhile.

This was actually on PS for me. But it could happen on any site. It gets to the point where I get to be an 80% favorite (according to the math) and still feel like a dog to win. The only thing I can keep doing is playing the math and ignoring my sense of doom.
