Default Poker Video Games...

Do you know anyone who learned to play poker through video games such as Playstation games like WSOP or WPT? Did they really learn anything or did they bomb out when faced with a real game?

Depends if you are playing online or offline poker; either way you are learning mathematics. I don't really think that leanring it from video game poker is a great way to learn; but it is learning none the less.
